The Days We Keep

A private family-memory app for iPhone, iPad and Android, sold by subscription in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I run it end to end as founder and sole developer.

  • Migrated the live app to Riverpod 3 and an offline-first Drift database synced to Firestore
  • Server-side purchase verification in Cloud Functions for Apple and Google
  • Family sharing with per-memory privacy, enforced in security rules

03 · My story

From a math classroom in Cali to the App Store

I started out explaining calculus to teenagers in Colombia. In the U.S. I worked my way through retail tech and air-logistics operations, wrote my first tools to fix problems I saw every day, and earned a computer science degree. Now I build software full time through my own company.

04 · Teaching

I taught math before I wrote code

For more than four years I taught Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calculus at Colegio Alemán de Cali, to classes of about 20 students in grades 6 through 11.

In 2007 I was named Teacher of the Month, after students and parents said I made math look easy. That is still how I work: I break hard things into steps people can follow, whether it is a proof, a codebase or a new teammate learning a tool.
